Adventures in Story Time introduces young children to books, rhymes, crafts, and other fun interactive activities. Each session is a chance to practice reading readiness skills like listening during stories, letter awareness and predicting. These skills build the foundational knowledge to prepare children to learn to read.

Join us on Oct 5th at 10 am in the Popular Materials Area (1st floor east side of the Library) for a special Owl Story Time.  We will enjoy stories, songs and visit from Scout, a Screech Owl that lives at ZooMontana.

After Story Time children will receive a take and make owl craft. There will be no Story Time on Oct 6th or 7th.

¡La biblioteca pública de Billings ahora ofrece La Hora de Lectura en español!  Billings Public Library now offers Story Time in Spanish.

We are excited to partner with Justina MSU- B student, who learned Spanish while living in Argentina, to share your favorite picture books in Spanish.  Join us in the Community Room on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month at 4pm.
