Children's Calendar

  1. Family Reading Program

    January 21, 2020 - February 23, 2020

    Billings Public Library’s 23rd annual Family Reading Program will begin January 21st. Family Reading is designed to encourage families to develop the habit of reading aloud together. Studies have shown that children who are read aloud to have improved language skills and are more successful in school. During the program families will read together for 20 minutes a day for 20 days. Families completing the program will receive a book and be entered into a drawing for a special grand prize. A Circus Variety Show is scheduled for February 24th at 6:30 to celebrate the end of Family Reading.     The TECH Lab is the library's digital learning lab that's just for teens. Come to the lab to learn about 3D printing, use our audiobooth to record and mix music, build and program some robots, and much more! Teens can also come to hang out and be social, as we have lots of board games and gaming consoles. Plus, it's all free!
